Wrecking Services

  The Company has its own rescue teams rendering environmental safety services and the services on liquidation of breakdown oil spills within the process of mineral oil raid and mooring transshipping.
The rescue teams are certified by the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations and their equipment allows them to immediately react to emergency situations related to outflows of oil, oil products, chemicals and other hazardous substances.
   The first rescue team is based in the port of Salekhard. Its coverage is the territory of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (YNAD) and the water area of the Gulf of Ob to the Trehbugorny cape in the North and the part of the river Ob to the border of YNAD in the South.
   The second rescue team is based in St. Petersburg. Its coverage is the Northwest Federal District and the water area of the adjacent seas and gulfs, as well as inland waterways connecting the Gulf of Finland and the White sea. The objects serviced by the rescue team include raid oil transshipping complexes located on the territory of the gulfs of Finland, Kola, Dvina and Kandalaksha, the Barents and the White seas and the inland waterways along the Belomorsko-Baltiysky Kanal water transport system.

   Market segments of services provided by rescue teams:

1. Providing environmental safety services and outflows liquidation within the process of mineral oil raid and mooring transshipping at transshipping complexes of the Northwest Federal District.

2. Providing environmental safety services and outflows liquidation within the process of mineral oil raid and mooring transshipping at transshipping complexes of the Company’s transshipping complexes in the Gulf of Ob, the bay of Tiksi, the bars of rivers of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

3. Providing the services of the Forecasting center for outflows implications in seas and water areas water (hereinafter the Center) organized within NTS; evaluating the outflows implications; working out recommendations and assessing the efficiency of the services provided.

4. Providing mediation services on organizing the centers for oil spills implications in seas and areas of water to regional and territorial subdivisions of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations, to specialized emergency teams and to other interested clients.

5. Exporting the services provided by emergency teams and the Center to other regions and countries.

   The services provided by the emergency teams are convenient for their customers because the teams themselves solve the number of problems related to oil raid transshipping and to nature-conservative measures (receiving the related agreements, permissive documents, signing the contracts with supplying and controlling authorities. Purchases and operation of special equipment required for environmental measures, liquidation of outflows and other emergency cases). The services provided by emergency teams are advantageous for customers. The Company’s long experience in provision of environmental safety measures allows our customers to avoid high costs of environmental safety measures and outflows liquidation and to secure themselves from significant losses in case of emergency situations related to outflows.
